13th International Organ Festival Alcalá Cathedral 2026

Alcalá de Henares will host the 13th International Organ Festival from April 25 to May 23 2026 at the Cathedral-Magistral.

Under the artistic direction of renowned organist Liudmila Matsyura, this year’s festival pays special tribute to the composer, pedagogue, and organist Josef Gabriel Rheinberger, on the 125th anniversary of his death. The festival seeks to honor the work of this composer, whose organ writing represents a pinnacle of rigor and beauty for performers worldwide. The 13th Festival is also dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Blancafort organ that graces the Cathedral.
