LIUDMILA MATSYURA – internationally acclaimed concert organist, pianist and teacher with prominent career of more than thirty years. She started her career in Russia and has held Spanish citizenship for many years. Liudmila Matsyura graduated from M. I. Glinka Conservatory (c. Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) with the distinguished diplomas of organist and pianist under the supervision of famous Russian organist and professor G. I. Kozlova , Moscow school.
Liudmila Matsyura started her professional career at the Irkutsk Philharmonic, Russia, where she held the position of Concert Organist for sixteen years and grew enormously as a soloist. She performed also in trios and duos and collaborated with numerous soloists and choirs. Apart from her performing career, Liudmila Matsyura was piano teacher at the Conservatory and at the State Academy of Music in Irkutsk.
Throughout her career the organist has perfected her skills at the International Academies of Innsbruck, Zurich, Haarlem, Florence and Salamanca, with the great masters organists as: Jean Guillou, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Guy Bovet, Leo Kremer, Piet Kee, Ewald Kooiman, Harald Vogel, Lionnel Rogg, Marie Claire Alain and Montserrat Torrent among others.
He has also received a specialty in: harpsichord with the great teacher Zuzanna Ruzichkova, in choir conducting with the teachers L. Sivukhin and V. Schipunov; and vocal technique, with G.Marina.
Her current repertoire includes works from the fifteenth century to the present day. It also contains complete catalogs of J. S. Bach, F. Mendelssohn and C. Franck.
