International concert organist and professor of Russian origin, completed her studies at the Conservatory M. I. Glinka (c. Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) where she obtained diplomas distinguished organist and pianist with the prestigious russian Professor G. I. Kozlova.
From 1986 to 2003 she was Organist Philharmonic Soloist Irkutsk (Russia), where she developed a great organ solo activity, acting trio, duo and collaborating with soloists and chorus. She combine this work with working as higher grade piano professor at the Conservatory and at the State Academy of Music in Irkutsk.
Throughout her career she has perfected her organ studies at the International Academies of Innsbruck, Zurich, Haarlem, Florence and Salamanca, with the great masters like organists: Leo Kremer, Piet Kee, Ewald Kooiman, Harald Vogel and Lionnel Rogg, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Guy Bovet, Montserrat Torrent, Marie Claire Alain and Jean Guillou.
She has also attended courses: harpsichord with a famose professor S.Ruzichkova, choral director with a professors L.Sivukhin and V.Schipunov, and vocal technique with G.Marina among others.
Her current repertoire includes works from the fifteenth century to the present day. It also contains complete catalogs of J. S. Bach, F. Mendelssohn and C. Franck.
Liudmila Matsyura develops high concert activity in Russia and Europe, performing in major International Organ Festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Norway, Scotland, Ireland, Poland, Belgium and Spain.
