May 24th 2026 , broadcast by RTVE of the Pentecost Mass from Alcala Cathedral

May 24th at 11:00 AM – A magnificent broadcast by RTVE of the Pentecost Mass presided over by Bishop Antonio Prieto Lucena.

The Mass was broadcast on Channel 2 as part of their program “The Lord’s Day” to nearly 100,000 people throughout Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Ireland.

The Mass featured performances by the Cathedral’s titular organist, Liudmila Matsyura, and the singing by the El Exilio chapel choir from the parish of San Juan Evangelista in Torrejón de Ardoz, accompanied by a choir and chamber orchestra under the direction of Julio Maroto.
